A Permaculture Community now forming.

The Cost of Land

Though we are pretty drawn to land deals in Costa Rica, we are still open to suggestions from potential members with ideas of other places to set up shop.  In particular, I am wide open to the possibility of starting the community in the Philippines.  Cebu especially captured my heart when I lived there a few years ago and the thought of returning for good is truly appealing.

Pros to starting a community in the Philippines: fertile land, wonderful people, affordability (in some cases).
Cons: Foreigners cannot own land, and it is a bit more costly and troublesome to try to attain some type of temporary citizenship for non-Filipinos. Costa Rica is relatively hassle-free in both of these regards.

Below, I've added a few specs to the growing list on a few properties in the Philippines.
